Smart guidelines for teaching your teen about managing money


Wayne Parker shares a number of insightful ideas for getting through to your teen about managing money. You may already be familiar with one or two, but you may be intrigued by others, such as holding family financial councils (one I found particularly interesting!).  He also discusses the importance of understanding and respecting credit, something parents may not always put enough importance on.
